Blog #16 for HONO1397

What’s up my blog fam,

I hope everyone’s having a great week and that you’re getting your 8 required hours of sleep on a nightly basis (Don’t ask me about mine though)! ….

….

….Well, seeing as I technically have to update the blog every week on my sleeping hygiene and sleep schedule, I suppose I will update you even though you didn’t really have to ask and I sort of just submitted to doing so out of a responsibility I owe to the blog so… *sigh* here we go.

Sunday went fabulous! I slept a good amount of hours, went to church and then drove back to Plainview since spring break was coming to an end. That night I went to bed as soon as I got there and woke up early morning for class.

Monday night was the deal breaker for the week and literally whipped my sleeping schedule. So, I went to bed at 3 am and I was awake far too late to even wake up for my class the next day. 

After that, I really started blowing my class absences and missed 3/4 classes on Wednesday, barely made it to the fourth one, and on Thursday I was able to make it to my first class of the day but fell asleep because I was extremely tired and woke up minutes before my afternoon class so I was a bit rushed to get there.

Since I took that nap, I messed up my sleep schedule even more because I could not sleep until 4am that night, but I managed to wake up for my class on Friday but the sleep drive pressure increased heavily that day and I felt the urge to fall asleep but I couldn’t because I had both practice and work right after.

This was a tough week, I fumbled the ball a lot but I am hoping to get back into it and start the next week right!

  1. Ever, sounds like you had a rough sleep week and weren't able to get back on track quickly--or that there seemed to be a domino effect with each choice you were making. Hope this next week is less tumultuous for you!
